I led the comprehensive end-to-end rethink and redesign of Sonova Healthcare’s digital appointment booking flow. Scheduling a medical consultation is often met with high cognitive load and friction. The goal was to transform a complex, multi-step scheduling system into an intuitive, accessible, and reassuring digital experience for a diverse patient demographic.

The existing booking flow suffered from high drop-off rates due to data-heavy steps, unclear medical terminology, and a fragmented progression system. Patients faced decision fatigue when selecting healthcare providers, insurance validation, and time slots. The business required a solution that minimized drop-offs while gathering critical patient intake data securely and efficiently.

GearUp is an intuitive application designed for enthusiasts and professionals alike, allowing users to fully customize their gear and accessories. From choosing materials and colors to swapping components and adding personalized engravings, it provides a dynamic 3D visualization platform to design unique items before they’re ever made. Unlike many existing apps that offer limited customization or static previews, GearUp stands out with its dynamic 3D environment, extensive asset library, and crucially, the integration of AI-generated images. This unique feature empowers users to create truly original and complex designs on the fly, pushing the boundaries of personalization beyond pre-set options. The seamless combination of traditional design tools with advanced AI makes it incredibly powerful yet accessible, ensuring a superior and more creative user experience.

BT Global Design System – Owner, Lead Architect/Visual Designer

Creating the global design system for British Telekom. This is a living style guide that’s collaborative and code-connected. It’s not just a style guide where designers are the only contributors. It’s shared across the whole team, including designers, developers, product managers, etc. As a result, the design system is cohesive, dynamic, reusable and maintainable both in design and code. It starts with the styles and components in Figma, then move its way into the team library to finally become code components that exist in a place that’s easy to reference, contribute and version controlled, like a git repository.
